Remote-Controlled Helicopters Recalled

Comments Off

Imagine Nation Books announced a voluntary recall of Fly Dragon Remote-Controlled Helicopters because the rechargeable battery can overheat, posing a risk of fire and burn hazard to users.

To this date, there have been 49 reports of the helicopters overheating – six reports of flames and one report of property damage. There have been no injuries.

The recall involves the Fly Dragonfly (also called Queen Bee) remote-controlled helicopters with SKU #51727. They were sold nationwide at book/gift fairs, hospitals and office buildings. Photos of the recalled toy helicopters are included in the CPSC News Release for reference.

Consumers should stop using the recalled items and contact the company for a full refund.
