Getting struck by a train and surviving is by any measure a miracle in my book.
An Ohio man, 52, is recovering after being struck by a train Wednesday night near the intersection of Third Street and Western Avenue in Dayton.
Several homeless people were walking down the tracks as a train approached, police said. He was unable to get out of way in time and the train struck his shoulder.
His injuries appear to be non-life threatening. No further information is available at this time.
